One other point - Kelly needs a band with background singers that she sings with regularly. This performance highlights the difference in quality of her performance when she is not singing with a band and strong background singers instead of a backing track with her vocals only. As a vocalist, it is ok to harmonize with yourself in the studio, but not LIVE. If Kelly tours with a band and vocalist, she will become iconic and grow as an artist.

Her strength is quick lyrical vocal play, which is why she is great as a vocalist on rap tracks. She should capitalize on these types of songs and she will soar in this niche! Hope her next album reflects a tour that has songs like this that can be performed live.

This shows the greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat potential that Kelly has. She brought a little energy and spice to the performance. However, i wish Kelly had sang through all the song. That is my only low moment. Currently, Kelly is one of the most versatile songress but she need more vocal training to brush up on certain flaw(s), when she masters that there will be no one to beat her. I liked the red carpet gown but I actually prefer the blue gown she wore to the Pre-party. Just one question: When these designers or the stylists are choosing clothing with "Nude" elements like the top of the beige gown, why don't they tint the material to match her skin tone? Was this dress a rush choice? Didn't camp Kelly Rowland plan for the Grammy's months ago. In any case shouldn't they always be prepared and have lots of dresses in reserve?
The gown would have been absolutely flawless on her and turned more heads if it were strapless or the NUDE was actually NUDE! Team Kelly stop playing!
