Big Boi and Kelly Rowland are teaming up for the first time. The OutKast member has enlisted the Destiny’s Child diva for “Mama Told Me,” the first single from his upcoming album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. The jaunty jam was produced by The Flush Music and uses a springy, up-tempo beat to great effect, with '80s keys and slap bass bouncing around and Kelly’s cool melody tying it all together. This is very different and I like it! However, I hate the auto tune, it devalues the authenticity.
I like the single cover.
I really hope Kelly start promoting these featured song, leaving the DC song for awhile, and especially her new singles. Its a shame I she spend time and money to record these songs and they are not being promoted.
