Kelly Rowland is keeping cool this summer. Following the success of their chart-topping single “Motivation,” the R&B diva is reuniting with Lil Wayne for “Ice.”
Their collaboration, which is expected to debut any time now (KellyRowlandICE.tumblr.com), was helmed by Sean Garrett. “I feel really excited about this track and Kelly’s new album!” the hitmaker told Rap-Up.com. “Wayne is a movie and Kelly Rowland is as sexy as ever!”
Kelly tweeted some of the song’s lyrics. “Your lovin’ be givin’ me chills, you’re like ice,” she wrote, adding part of Weezy’s verse. “Ice, ice baby, shake that thing just like dice baby.”

all i need from ms kelly this time is a hot ass track and video ….along with 3 more hot tracks/videos – released in a timely manner ( 3 months apart) with uber promo and a clear theme along the lines of ms kelly – and a damn tour – i wanna see my mama continue to soar as high as possible – work!!! – and dont leave out the UK who should get their own album from ms kelly featuring some urban dance tracks ala “Each other”
This single needs the "Beyonce/Gaga" factor especially with some "Beiber/Minaj" promo on the performances NOT appearances UNLESS a whole show to PUMP the album and single then #SING!
This IS her "Kelly Rowland formerly of Destiny's Child" or simply #KELLYROWLAND in her own right. Don't get me wrong she is very much at that level however the LABELS aren't willing to or know how or do but don't push the envelope taking it to a level that ONLY she can touch. PLEASE UNIVERSAL DO PROMOTE THIS ALBUM THE GREATER WAY WITH FULL OUT PROMO ON TV (The View, Today Show, Early Show, Ellen, 106th and Park, #SNL, Late Nights (Jimmy, Jay, Dave, etc.); VIDEO (Over the TOP though outside of the box and NOT typical but embraces that "captivating sex appeal"); SINGLE (Full Promo with AirPlay, Billboard, Radio, etc.) and ALBUM (Showcase KELLY ROWLAND "the" Artist NOT a rushed "rushed" situation).

No shade to the UK and overseas, but she needs to get this time in on AMERICA.. Then show the states <3 soon after the promotion is picking up meaning after performances on credited shows like SNL, 106th and Park, MTV Awards, BET Awards. The was the downfall of the albums though success in the UK and international markets she MIST realize better yet the LABEL MUST REALIZE HOW INPORTANT THIS IS!!!!!!
I really think Kelly should name this album Kelendria (which is her birth name) and introduce the world to her. We know Kelly now we wanna know Kelendria
